Does my CoreBook have video output over USB-C so I can connect a monitor to it?
Or is it possible to connect a monitor anyhow?

OK, I recently realized. The original Corebook does not support PD power charge and also AC adapter does not. Just think about it is a 12v fixed power supply via USB Type-C port.
When I use my USB-C hub (which has a HDMI output), When I do NOT use AC adapter, I can use external monitor but with it, the USB-C hub could not output screen. There are not PD control on PC nor AC adapter, the hub’s PD input port received fixed 12v from the adapter. So you can safe to use HDMI extension from Type-C hub not using AC adapter. That means, we have to use internal battery only to use HDMI external monitor. Connecting AC Adapter on Hub’s Type-C port, in the worst case it damages the hub.
Another way is to use remotedesktop (but it requires Windows Pro version) or some other equivarent software.
And finally, Corebook USB Host port. Connecting there a USB-VGA exchange device (rare and not chap) with USB Host cable on USB Micro B port.
I hope it helps.
