A fix for Windows 11 upgrade not working due to emmc not found

Go into the bios (f7 on boot), then chipset, south bridge, LPSS & SCC configuration. Set ‘scc emmc support’ to PCI. Go back to the top menu, then advanced and check that ‘MS custom sdbus driver’ is ‘enabled’. Save and exit. The Windows 11 installer should now be able to see the emmc. In place upgrade from windows 10 worked using this approach, using ‘rufus’ to make the usb installer from the windows 11 iso.

The system image downloaded from the Chuwi website is customized, so in my opinion, there’s no need to use Rufus. Here’s the tutorial for creating the USB:

windows installation system tutorial.docx (633,0 KB)

Driver installation tutorial.docx (10,0 MB)

The download form the chuwi website is for windows 10 AFAIK. This is for those who want to install windows 11.

It can be updated in two ways:
Through the system: if the computer meets the Windows 11 configuration requirements
By downloading the ROM from the Microsoft website
By using the Windows 11 Installation Media Creator: with which you can burn a CD or USB drive

The computer does not meet the windows 11 requirement, that’s why you have to use rufus to make the USB drive from the ISO and not the windows 11 media creator.
