BIOS setting to boot when power is applied does not work

Hi
I have BIOS version 2.18.1263
The setting is here: Chipset -> South Cluster Configuration -> Miscellaneous Configuration -> State After G3
I set this to “S0 State” but the system does not boot when power is applied, I still have to press the power button to make it boot. Setting it to “Last State” gives the same result.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour?
Is there a solution to make the system boot as soon as power is applied?
For information, I am running Debian Buster.
Thanks
