Black Screen Issue on CHUWI Hi10 Air After Update

Hi everyone,

Iam having an issue with my CHUWI Hi10 Air tablet. After a recent Windows update, the device powers on, but the screen stays Black screen.

I can hear the startup sounds, so it seems the system is running, but the display doesn’t work.

I have tried force-restarting and connecting to an external monitor, but no luck.
Has anyone faced this before or know a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That’s exactly what’s happening, the installation has changed the display driver and that’s why you can’t see any image. The solution is to connect a screen or TV via HDMI cable or reinstall the system but this would make you lose the data you have on the device.
