I would buy a Chuwi with 3:2 screen and that keyboard layout (full cursors, paging on right of keyboard in a column) - would it only have Coreboot loader for use with my Gentoo installation. Please support the opensource community with the information they need - it WILL bring more customers, as you see from my case.
I will pass the feedback but its not as easy as it seems, i dont think would be possible at the moment

The community can do most of the supporting tasks for this open variant of the product’s firmware, so its even simpler for the company. From similar projects - the main chunk of your design is based anyway on a reference design, with some minor vendor specific customization - and if these can be documented and communicated - that’s all we need.
So far I managed to get an older model for experimentation to replace the bios, will report how it goes.
