eeprom

Your tablet must be hi10 plus revision 1610.
You need to flash file bios.bin, its size should be 8,192KB or 8,00MB.
Make sure to keep the original bios, because it contains windows key.

thanx for ur reply…

i really did… i used this “Hi10 PLus Bios(8350)20170622” and still nothing…

my bios.bin files r wrong…? or what can be pb…?

these r my device pics,

Try bios for other versions, if the problem is not solved, then the problem is not in the bios.

thanx alot… let me check it i will inform u…

You can also ask support for bios (service@chuwi.com), most likely they will give a link to a 100% suitable bios.

yes i tried to contact with them. i sent all information and i m waiting for reply…

device was working fine i just flashed wrong fw… then totally dead…

Hi.

I have no will to break in the conversation, just think it’s good to show us the status of your PC

  • Are Charging LED, POWER LED and Keyboard LED lit when charger is connected?
  • What has happened before/after this malfunction?
  • What does “not booting” mean?

Sincerely

hey…

there is no LED power when i plug the usb c or normal usb cable…
device was working fine i just flashed Hi10 fw then it is totally dead…
not power on device not enter to any mode and if i use the extra power supply it always shows current 0.06-0.18-.0.11 like that… always changing the values…

service sent me 2 bios files but no success… still no power on or any mode…

my CPU info… SR2KT…

Have you tried clearing CMOS after flashing? Perhaps this is the problem.

Press the power button for 30 seconds.
Press the power button 3 times for half a second
Put the charger and try to turn on.

Hi.

Your PC are on the way to light LED, that is, in the POST (Power-on-self-test) or before POST start.

I think you’ve already checked the soldering around W25Q64FW, it’s possible there may be the problem (short between succeeding pins, foot print peeling…).

I guess EEPROM’s form factor is gull-wing 8pin SOP (half-mil pitch), is it right?

Did you attach a socket for EEPROM on MB? (IC socket sometimes causes degradation of signal quality under high-speed clock frequency)

ohh no …never did it… let me try it…

this is the eeprom ic…yes it is 8 pin… and eeprom ic and around is clean…there is no short or sth else… i am disoldering eeprom ic with hot air then reprogramming and soldering again…i m not using socket for Eeprom…
