CHUWI HeroBook 14.1" Windows 10 Intel Atom X5-E8000 Quad Core

Hi I just got a CHUWI HeroBook and learning how it works. I’m new to the M.2 SSD thing and I’m trying to find out answers if the " WD Blue SN500 500GB NVMe Internal SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280" could work with the HeroBook. I know on the back of the laptop says SATA SSD 2240 or 2280 but this NVMe SSD 2280 from the picture I saw looks like it would work. Also I’m not sure the exact release date of this HeroBook laptop. If anyone can find out if this type of NVMe could work with this laptop it would be a great help. Any other cool findings for this laptop please post here. Thanks ahead of time.

No, the device is not compatible with NVMe SSD.

Must use SSD M2 SATA NGFF 2280 up to 128GB

A good option would be to use the Kingspec which has a very good value for money: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/32364627961.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.6fb82825IdkrPT&algo_pvid=66646127-f16a-4ec9-86fb- 7c9b9f722b1f & algo_expid = 66646127-f16a-4ec9-86fb-7c9b9f722b1f-0 & btsid = 0a0bbc84-3017-4b71-ab83-2ebe719dbef7 & ws_ab_test = searchweb0_02, searchweb20_16, search

Hello, I just received my Herobook. It’s a bit slow with the Celeron Processor, but fine for e-mail and web browsing. With regards to this SSD, does this mean it can be used as a second drive “D” drive for additional storage, or does this replace the boot drive? A 1TB drive is very reasonable in price. Thanks,
