Chuwi Hi10 Go: limit battery charge percentage

Does anyone know if it’s possible to limit the maximum battery charge to preserve the battery life?

Other laptop and tablet models have these kind of options in the bios. For example, on my HP laptop I can set the max battery charge to 80% to prevent over-charging (and also lengthen the battery’s life).

I looked in the bios for a setting, but couldn’t find anything relevant.

I have had multiple batteries in the past swelling on me because of over-charging, so this would be a nice feature to enable.

Hello. I only know how to do it in Linux

Hello.
I’m stranger. But about this thing i found some solution below:

Beside of it, I have a question, I paid chuwi Hi10 go from chuwi store directly. How long u get ur product ? And how to know where is your package ?

i bought one similar from china for about 4 USD (i am in China’s HongKong)

at first i chose it to be ON in the odd hours, and OFF in the even hours; but the charging is fast so the battery is still almost > 95% anytime.

now I tune it to be ON for 1hr, then OFF for 2hr, cycle thru 24hrs.

the batter now cycles between lowest of 60-70% to 100% at highest.

i guess this is better than always 100% charged.

ps I use hi10x 24hx7, even on the go, even i sleep.
