CoreBox 4th i5-1235U - Constant BSODs After 4 Repairs

Hello Chuwi Support and community members,

I am creating this post to address a persistent and serious issue with my device. I am kindly asking for an official response.

1. Serial Number: ZCoBoxlW2P231201168

2. Place of Purchase: AFITRON on OZON.RU https://www.ozon.ru/seller/afitron-2783/?miniapp=seller_2783

3. Date of Purchase: November 2024

4. Detailed Problem Description:

Timeline of Issues:

  • November 2024: I purchased the CoreBox. It was not used immediately after purchase.

  • February 2025: I began to actively use the device, and it immediately started crashing with frequent BSODs (Blue Screen of Death).

  • First Repair: I took the device to a service center. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the SSD.

  • June 2025: After the repair, the device was not used for some time. When I started using it actively again in June, the exact same problem returned: constant and various BSODs.

  • Second Repair: I returned the device to the service center. This time, they replaced the cooling system.

  • Current Situation: The problem is still not resolved. The device remains unstable and continues to crash, making it completely unusable.

Key Information and My Suspicions: During a conversation at the first service center, I was privately informed that this exact unit had already been sent for repair twice BEFORE I purchased it. This means my device has a history of at least four repair attempts in total.

Given that replacing the SSD and the cooling system did not fix the issue, and the BSOD errors are always different (citing memory issues, disk errors, etc.), I strongly suspect a fundamental hardware defect with the motherboard (perhaps a faulty northbridge). The device is completely unreliable for storing any data or performing any important work.

Additional Issues: Beyond the constant crashing, the fan noise on this CoreBox is extremely loud. I own other mini PCs (from MSI and Geekom), and the Chuwi CoreBox is significantly louder than a standard desktop PC, even under a very light load like having a single web browser tab or a Word document open.

Questions and Desired Resolution:

  1. I request an official representative to comment on this situation.

  2. Can you please provide the service history for the device with serial number ZCoBoxlW2P231201168? I want to know why it was repaired twice before I bought it and what work was performed.

  3. After four failed repair attempts, I have zero confidence in this product. It is clearly defective. Therefore, I request a full refund for this faulty device.

I look forward to your prompt and helpful response. I would also appreciate hearing from any other users who may have experienced similar issues.

Thank you.
