Hi12 - Request for assistance with reinstallation

Hello

I have a Hi12 Q64G45170403496 tablet with a Z8350 processor that’s set up for dual boot (Android and Windows).

As the tablet was having problems (it was very, very slow), I tried formatting it and reinstalling Windows just as I would on a computer, but it’s missing a great many drivers (even though I’ve installed the Chinese 360 software).
It also seems that the tablet doesn’t have a hard drive large enough to hold all the updates (58 GB) (

I tried entering my model number on the ‘https://support.chuwi.com/’ website but couldn’t find it…

I tried downloading the Windows version from this forum, but the file is too large for the file system on the bootable USB stick.

1st question: Why can’t I find the tablet on the support website?
Second question: What is the correct installation guide with the right version of Windows and the right drivers?
Third question: Can I reinstall just the Android part, or just the Windows part, without having to reinstall both?
Fourth question: Won’t Windows always be slow and take up the whole hard drive these days?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

You can install just Android, if I’m not mistaken.
Since you have limited storage space, you could try installing a lightweight Linux distribution.

If there isn’t enough space, my aim is to have either Windows or Android only. I don’t need Linux. However, I don’t know how to install Android only. I hope a CHUWI technician will reply…

You have contacted Chuwi customer service.

I see a lot of technical advice here (for example: Hi12 - Request for assistance with reinstallation - #2 by bruzan2025), so I assume there are technically knowledgeable people on this forum.

Also, I can’t figure out how else to contact technical support (I don’t speak English).

You can contact support through their website.

Google has a translator for this.
