How does the failsafe / automatic bios flashback Aptio V bios work?

Does anyone here know how the failsafe / automatic bios flashback on the Minibook X / Aptio V Uefi works?

I am currently modding the bios of my n100 Minibook X, but i propably will not flash it, before i haven’t figured this out.

My digging into the UEFI with AMIBCP has revealed that there seems to be such recovery mode, but not if it expects a certain .rom name or key combination at boot.

Figuring this out could be of help for all of us, who plan to flash a modded / unlocked bios.

Note: I will NOT post any bios images, but if i am successfull i may point to the tutorials i have used.

For us we cannot give support for this.

I totally get that you can’t give “support” in such a case, i am acting on my own risk.
What i am rather asking for is information, to minimise any risk, in case such information on the matter is available.

Anyway thanks for the reply!

We really don’t have any information regarding the configuration and handling of the BIOS, since it is a laboratory issue and it is a topic closed to support members. As you know, the BIOS is locked and any manipulation implies a risk of bricking. The only solution in case this happens would be flashing it using the specific files that we may have access to.

Of course i am aware of that risk, hence the question.
If there theoretically already exists a unlocked bios rom which is not modded, i would of course much prefer such a file.
