LarkBox Dead USB3 Hub/lan device and 15GB diskspace left

I have been overjoyed with my brand new basic larkbox…

2 little set up niggles tho

  1. One Game RA2 will not play sound via the hdmi/tv only when a Bluetooth soundbar is paired ???
  2. while my ‘traditional’ mouse works a-ok, the airmouse i got for netflix etc will not scroll down pages?

Neither are show stoppers and i can live with the minor hassle of pairing a soundbar to play the one game i have a problem with…

Other than the death of a usb hub/lan port device after only a week or 2 of service which i will put down to a flaw in the hub for now. My only real BIG issue is diskspace…

I only have about 15gb of space left . and after reading some of the reports of hot ssds im feeling less confident in the original plan to fit a m.2 ssd and am wondering if an external ssd in a usb3 enclosure may not be the better option and if so do you think it would also be a suitable boot/system disk option too?

thanks in advance
