When I turn on the backlight for the keyboard on my Minibook, it turns off after a few seconds. I need to press a key to turn it back on again. Is there a way to disable this? It’s inconvenient that I need to mash my keyboard in the dark to turn the light back on and find whatever key I need. Thank you.

It’s the default behavior. At the moment there is software provide on CHuwi devices to control and have option always ON.
This is usually a third-party app that some other manufactures are used to provide but this is not the case.

Ну и где это программное обеспечение , купил Chuwi FreeBook в 2024 г. такая же беда , знал бы не покупал это говно . Не пойму зачем это вообще , что это за подсветка если она гаснет .

Just to be clear, I don’t want it always on. If I turn it on, it should stay on. If I turn it off, it should stay off.

Tech already sent this to the person who needs to do the patch. It would be ready in a few days i hope. So you can solve this
I observed the behavior on Dell laptop. The keyboard backlight will go off after a few second of inactivity also. But as soon as you touch the touchpad, the keyboard will light up. I hope Chuwi will copy this behavior.

- Restart your Minibook and enter the BIOS setup: The specific key to enter BIOS varies between manufacturers, typically F2, F10, or Del. Look for a message during boot-up telling you which key to press.

Добрый день. Помогите устранить данную проблему с клавиатурой на моем ноутбуке Mini Book X N100, серийный номер HY4H230901203.
Очень не удобно, что она все время гаснет и нет возможности выбирать вариант с постоянно горящими клавишами и выключенными.

Спасибо. Вы очень помогли. Клавиатура стала работать корректно, то что и хотела.
Может быть вы и доработаете кодеки для звуковой карты, так как звук у ноутбука из коробки слабый, но сторонние программы хорошо его усиливают. Но было бы хорошо, сделать новый кодек, который усилит звук динамиков.

I have the same issue. The backlight is functional but turns off too soon, which makes it difficult to use in low light.
