Hello everyone, I own two CHUWI Minibook X N100, both purchased in Europe, at the Official CHUWI Store. One of the two has an annoying and irritating problem… When you try to start it, pressing the power button for a few seconds, nothing happens. I have to try and try dozens of times, until, for no clear reason, the notebook boots up. It is not clear to me if it is an electrical problem (cold boot), firmware defects or something else, but I really hope that there is a solution, because in these conditions I lose the desire to use my appreciated computer. Can you help me with precise suggestions that lead to the solution of the problem?
It is still under warranty? It seems maybe the cable connector is loose, or kind of hardware. Did you buy it recently? because if its less than 14 days you can replace for a new one.
Hello and thank you for the exchange . The two notebooks are fairly new (a few months). I would never ship such cheap items anywhere. In my opinion, these defects are all fixable with better firmware or with small interventions that I could even do myself… but I need to have some basic information and I hope that some CHUWI technician can provide a minimum of input, in light of the fact that I don’t demand anything and expect absolutely nothing but kindness and some information that, unfortunately, is not in my hands and is not something I can study. I think I am a sufficient Customer, since I have purchased two of the minibook x and would be pleased if, simply, they both worked, without gross defects like the one I report. To summarize: if any other user has had the same problem and solved it, I request the courtesy of being able to know your solution. If it hasn’t happened to anyone, I hope someone from CHUWI would like to spare a few minutes. Thank you all.
You need to tell me exactly which information you want us to provide, because it looks like hardware issue, but you say is not. So maybe tell me exactly what we need to ask to TEch
I can send you again the WIndows and drivers files if you want to run out software…

thank you but i don’t need SO and driver (I suggest to you, if you are interested in Ciutomers opinions to create a download area were always possible taken what needs).
I’m interested in have the serial number of the powerswitch and “flat cable”.
I’ desidre to try to fix your mistake; I’m not scared about the warranty loss, because you have, in fact and in reality, a NO WARRANTY actitude. Customers don’t spend a lot of money for send thir notebook to you, mayve in China (!! :)) So, if you have suggestion about the moste conomy way for me for buy the witch and the falt cable, I will try to solve your mistaken and your fault quality control…
Now, I return to my activitity, then when I will tru to restart this notebook, I will pass the classic 10 times of cycles ON/OFF for reply to you.

i’ve have sometime the same issue with my Minibook X N100
but today i can’t achive to start / boot anymore
i think this issue is linked to sleep settings
