Minibook X N100 bricked, won't charge at all

… out of the blue, now no charging off either USB C port. There was a brief period where the keyboard backlight flashed erratically while trying to charge the beast, but now it is well and truly a brick. It was a nice run, but a shame: finally had Debian Linux reasonably stable on the platform, and it’s such a great size for working while travelling. Alas.

Too bad. But do you happen to use the original charger? Then you could try a standard USB charger. For me both a 45 Watt charger capable of 20 Volts max and a 20 Watt charger capable of 15 Volts max work.

Cheers, Jaap

PS even though the Chuwi charger has a USB c connector, it is NOT compatible. It may fry other equipment. DO NOT USE ON ANY OTHER DEVICE!
