So the glass broke on its own, for some reason the aluminum (or whatever material is it) screen just bend or something (my guess is from heat when i had on 360 mode and the vents just blasted hot air there(?) and the glass just cracked the next time i tried to open it more than 100 degrees. So i need to find a replacement for the whole screen including hinges, i opened the laptop on the back and its only a few screws and 2 connectors so its not that much of a hustle.
The problem is i cant find this part anywhere, i tried service@chuwi.com and didn’t got an answer at all, after a lot of messages i got a loop going and they said that they are currently out of stock and will “notify me”. This happened over a year ago… I tried aliexpress various “official chuwi” sellers and all said no, or out of stock.
I live in Europe, on the eu site I dont get replies at all with the contact us form. I also tried support@chuwi.com still nothing there as well. All these actions were taken in a span of 1+ year.
The only i thing i found is someone selling it on ebay but its expensive as hell (169.05 EUR).
One seller on Aliexpress called “CHUWI Choice EU Store” actually answered me, and said he was out of stock again, but told me parts plus shipping was 70$ (60EUR) which is a reasonable price.
But unfortunately 10 months later it seems he is still out…
So… yeah any idea where to go next?
