MiniBook X N100 scratchy audio jack

I purchased the device on Nov 25, 2024, from the official Chuwi Ebay store: chuwiofficial | eBay Stores

My problem is:
I hear a very slight (can’t hear of this feedback anything when listening to any music on low volume) scratchy sound coming out of the audio/headphone jack under certain conditions:

  • Only when power is plugged in.
    There is some motion on the screen. It could be moving the mouse, using the touchpad, or watching a video on YouTube without mouse/trackpad inputs. So long as there is motion on the screen, there is faint, scratchy feedback coming through no matter which headphones I use.
  • It does not matter if audio is muted or not. It is always present.
  • I have only tested this in Windows 11. I am unsure if this problem is present in Linux.

Does anyone have any driver updates or potential solutions? Many thanks!

You are still under the 14 days warranty for a replace.
Please contact the Ebay store, and ask them to replace for a new one.
We dont know what could it be, or if it will a problem long term,

Thank you for your response! I have decided the slight noise is tolerable and I will keep the laptop as there are no other problems. I will check my Wife’s new MiniBook X N100 and see if there are any issues within the return window. Thanks!
