I have bought this notebook but in M2 slot norhing work, I have tested two type of SSD and won’t boot freeze and sometime enter in a BIOS and in bios found transcend Nvme but not after this found internal SSD possible conflict? After reboot freeze again and not see any Ssd I think BIOS problem wich type work? No technical or manual info about this I have tested without success this two type but I don’t uderstand why in manual are not indicated witch type of ssd WORK only generic M2 2280…

update I have found a bios bug by myself, NVMe M2 2280 card only work if in bios have disable Sata port of original disk.
Chuwi have to fix this issue if don’t are an Hardware problem … in this case is a bad news.

yes I’m Italian and I bought this new but “old” laptop at an affordable price, anyway when you have it at home test immediately if the slot M2 work but first verify 3 or 4 reboot from bios to bios if not fast and stuck in “CHUWI” there is a problem…

non posso dirti come mi trovo perchè di fatto non va già dal primo boot ho notato che ci ha messo troppo tempo sulla scritta CHUWI peggio di così… ho scritto ieri allo store CHUWI per il cambio o reso.
In ogni caso appena lo hai entra nel bios e senza toccare nulla salva ugualmente ed esci 3 o 4 volte poi se si avvia usalo un pochino poi lo spegni e magari dopo un minuto lo riaccendi ed entri nel bios tasto “ESC” deve entrarci subito se noti ci mette troppo vedrai che non trova più la SSD 256GB interna.
la SSD che hai visto trascend che ho preso su Amazon la vede tranquillamente ti consiglio di verificare che funzioni la porta M2 perchè questo notebook ha la porta SATA 3.2 condivisa con la PCIe e spero che non ci sia un errore di progettazione come ho già visto in parecchi notebook.

Io non lo prenderei ha un dual core i5 datato inoltre se metti una nvme nello slot ti sparisce la SSD interna e all avvio dopo un minuto entra nel BIOS io credo sia un bug del BIOS però dovrebbero dire marca e modello che hanno testato se lo hanno testato… Se disattivi la SSD o tutta la porta sata interna sembra va qualche volta ma poi resta bloccato un minuto appena lo accendi magari in modo random o subito o dopo qualche riavvio.

Spero emettano un aggiornamento firmware se si tratta di un bug vero e proprio, in subordine, perdonami l’egoismo, spero sia il tuo difettoso.
In questo ultimo caso a breve provvederò a testare, dovrebbe arrivarmi a breve.

Del resto con le specifiche che ha non si trova assolutamente nulla di meglio a quel prezzo.
E’ difficile/impossibile trovare review è vero, come se non esistesse, ma non è così a quanto mi è dato modo di vedere: lo store dove l’ho preso ne ha 2.000+ a magazzino. Quindi ne hanno prodotti tanti.

Did you try to insert sata ssd instead of NVMe under original bios setting?
If your investigation is correct , both original sata ssd and additional ssd are recognized.
Personally i ordered this pc at the end of 2020 on banggood, but its status has been restocking for more than one month!
