Plain white screen testing has been incredibly helpful for identifying display issues. I used this plain screen to test my Minibook X when I encountered a problem with the screen not turning back on after closing the lid. The computer seems to wake from sleep because the keyboard lights up and the power light comes back on, but the screen stays black.
This happens regardless of whether I set the lid action to sleep, hibernate, or do nothing. However, if I manually put the computer to sleep using the power menu and then close the lid, it wakes normally after opening.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!
The Minibook X has a sleep-wake issue where the screen stays black after reopening the lid, even though the system is on. Putting it to sleep manually before closing the lid seems to help. A similar issue was reported with the MiniBook, so try waking it with a key instead of the power button. Updating or reinstalling graphics drivers might also fix the white screen problem. If it keeps happening, contacting CHUWI support is a good idea.
Possibly a Windows (driver) issue. My Minibook x N100 runs Kubuntu 24.10. Closing the lid puts it to sleep. Opening the lid wakes it up. At wake up it shows the logon screen, but the keyboard does not lit until I start typing the password.
