I have laptop chuwi Gemibook pro when I try to type character like (è , é or + ) etc it doesn’t work I tried multiple software

This is usually related to Keyboard and language setup. I would recommend to check on bottom right if you have proper keyboard layout and language selected.
In My case I have US International Layout but Portuguese Language so I can use accents, but also have a external keyboard with BR standard so when I use it I need to change for ABNT Keyboard.
I have US keyboard and Italian keyboard but with neither of the two the special characters work.
Please can someone help me with the keyboard special characters
Hello, there are two setups. One is the keyboard, other is the language of typing. With any keyboard, US, or Italian, you have also Italian typing setup? With these two setups, you should be able to use the special characters for Italian language.

I have the US keyboard installed and I installed the Italian keyboard. My problem is I can’t type some special characters as mentioned above with neither the languages…can you please help me

Please check this link from Microsoft. My laptop is in Portuguese, so the names of the menus are different, so I believe it’s better on the official link I put below:

In short, there are two different setups:

the language/format of your keyboard( as example, a Portuguese keyboard comes with “ç”
So to use a Portuguese Standard Keyboard( the device itself) I need to have it selected. I believe this part you already have done. -
The second setup is the input language. Even with my portuguese keyboard, if I keep the English input language, my “ç” will not work. So I need to setup the input language to Portuguese to accept the special characters. This part is what I believe is missing for you.
With Microsoft link I gave you it should be easier. You may change Microsoft page to Italian language which may help.
