Hi everyone.
I received my Ubook Pro a couple of days ago. Everything is correct unless the tablet doesn´t charge. Even though the official charger is connected all night, the battery is still 0%.
Any solution?
Should first check if Cable, PowerAdaptor or Pc problem…
Red dot is on when connected ?
How charging from USB-C Port ?
Hi.
The tablet does not charge with the original charger (the charger is connected for several hours, the red LED on the tablet turns on but the battery does not charge).
The tablet does not charge through the USB Type-C port (Powerbank connected, the red LED on the tablet does not turn on and the battery does not charge).
Has this happened to anyone?
Regards.
The powerbank will probably not be able to charge via the USB-C. You will need a 45W PD USB-C charger in order to charge via the USB-C port.
Most likely the unit is defective. Please contact aftersale-service@chuwi.com for support.
Hi.
I have already contacted with aftersale-service@chuwi.com but they still do not offer me a solution.
I want to make the tablet return and refund my money with Chuwi Russian Store via Aliexpress. Anyone know the procedure?
Regards.
Hi.
How many Amps does your Ubook Pro chargers have?
As for the technical specifications should be 12Volts / 3Amperes. My charger is 2 amps. This could be my problem. Please, can you clear the amps of your chargers?
Best regards.
Original charger is 12V/2A
The tablet took me 3 months to arrive. Could the battery have been completely discharged? What solution would there be?
You could buy a 45W PD USB-C charger and see if you can charge the tablet with it via the USB-C. Also make sure you buy the correct USB-C to USB-C cable that can handle the power requirements. The PD chargers are not too expensive and you can use it to charge other devices as well.
I use the ZMI HA832 charger as it has two additional USB-A ports. There are many to choose from.
If this doesn’t work, then I would suggest either replacement or return of the UBook Pro.
Hi, im facing similar issues with my ubook pro that just arrived today (20 April 2020) - plugged in the power adaptor and the red LED shows. (Device arrived in 3 weeks approx.)
8 hours later, still red LED. Tried to turn the device on. The first thing that appeared on the screen was a battery sign at red level. It powers on. The moment i removed the power adaptor, it the device shuts.
Anyone have a solution for this?
Went into Device manager. Found that there is nothing on battery. Possible that there is no battery unit or drivers installed?
It appears you are having a hardware issue with the battery. I would suggest contacting Chuwi support.
Thanks for your reply. How do i contact them?
You can contact Chuwi support at aftersale@chuwi.com or service@chuwi.com.
If you just bought it, can you return it to place you purchased it and ask for a replacement?
OPEN UP THE CHUWI UBOOK PRO GUYS. ITS BETTER THEN TO WAIT 3 MONTHS TO GET IT BACK FROM THE SUPPORT.
the battery cable inside the ubook pro to the mainboard is easy to pull it out. maybe the delivery guy let it fall or some and the cable was out by itself.
there are only 2 screws behind the kickstand.
