Ubook X Windows 11 Driver

Tried to update this machine. Works everything well except Intel SST Microphone which doesn’t work at all. Do you have a working driver for Win 11?
Th original One from Intel (much more recent) is not reconized even if the harware IDs in the inf file are the same…

Ubook X mic uses Realtek. What worked for me without any driver issues was to

  1. Install all Windows 10 updates and upgrades until there are no more available (20H1 takes extremely long)
  2. Remove all update files (Clean Disk utility)
  3. Install Windows 11 upgrade assistant
  4. Install graphics driver from Intel: Intel® Celeron® Processor N4100 (4M Cache, up to 2.40 GHz)

This one is more recent than the version installed using Windows Update or Windows 11 https://downloadmirror.intel.com/677976/igfx_win_100.9955.exe

Flickering lines were appearing occasionally from unboxing until only when the Microsoft Store is opened under Windows 11. The graphics driver from Intel fixed that after a few hours of use.

Everything on my machine is working and it’s more faster and responsive than under Windows 10. Battery life is better too.

Realtek? Mine doesn’t say so in Device Manager…:thinking:

Uninstall your audio drivers and use windows update to install them.

@Darkpila,

I turned off the “Audio Improvement” (not sure how it appears in the EN version of Win11) switch in settings->Sound->Inuput and microphone works now with no hassle.

Hi Guys… i got issue here… i bought 2nd hand CHuwi Ubook X 12 inch from a friend, and there is only 1 speaker output (from right side), and there is none from left. My friend did not realise this before. Do you guys think it can be related to software or hardware? usually, speakers would last for longest time. Appreciate your input on this matter. Thanks in advance.
