I totally agree.

WindowsUpdate doesn’t work properly for Hi10X so I stopped it. I guess some kind of mismatches are there between BIOS, Windows, and Hi10X (so, sleep/hibernate problem happened).

I don’t have the install image for Hi10XR. Would you contact the other Hi10XR users or CHUWI? I can send only Hi10X install image.

That is the exact sleep problem of Hi10X !.
All my struggles are derived from it !

this only happens today. I hve been using the XR for 1mth already.
Strange about that it only happens today.

Have u managed to resolve ur sleep problem?

BTW, this also happen when i fully shutdown it down properly.

Band aid solution but I set the tablet to sleep after 3 to 5 minutes of idling on battery, never sleep on power. I’ve never encountered the problem ever since, using the tablet normally.

I disabled Hibernate and Fast Startup because Sleep is enough for me. This might be a factor, I do not know.
If you want to try at your own risk, Admin Powershell powercfg /h off

I have yet to try putting the tablet to sleep when idling above 5 minutes. I do not know whether the BIOS settings has any part of this. Testing whether USB Selective Suspend is responsible.

I’m grad to know the solution, thank you @leafychards , now going to do the same method.

Sleep problem happens randomly, not always. It is difficult to track it…

somehow I resolve the windows update issue, by RESETTING my device…welll it works…
HOWEVER…the sleep issue still occurs…
It is very frustrating that U can SLEEP the device, but NOT ABLE to bring it back up.
When you hold the POWER button less then 10sec, it wont power up…when u hold too long, it will FORCE SHUTDOWN…
I found there is a separate forum on this SLEEP-WAKE issue…but don’t think there is a solution yet…
