Windows 10 update problem

I have a Chuwi Hi10 Pro tablet model CW1529
My serial number is Hi10 HQ64G42170907324
Windows update failed and the tablet is stuck trying to undo changes. I need some help fixing this or resetting the tablet to factory original image please. The Android side still works but the windows boot just loops trying to back out of this last update.

Technically, the update program should return your tablet to the previous state, although it may take many hours depending on how full your storage unit is and the size of the update.
My advice, since we all care about the time and we want the processes to be as fast as possible, is to download, from the official Microsoft site, a multilanguage Windows 10 pendrive, 64 Bits, with the tool to create media (do not choose an ISO). To get to the website just type “get Windows 10” in the browser of a PC.
Once you have it (consider losing all pendrive data when downloading Windows 10), you should start the tablet with the pendrive on and pressing F7 intermittently until a boot system selection window comes out. Choose the flash drive and press enter and you will arrive, after a few seconds on a black screen, to a Windows installation menu. Choose advanced tools in it and select start repair.
A Windows boot repair process will begin that must end with the system restored and loading Windows correctly.
Once you are on the Windows desktop, with the same pendrive connected, go to this computer, choose the pendrive and double click on setup. The installation program starts and from the menu, choose to update Windows.

Thanks I will try this it has been trying to correct itself for 3 days now so I don’t think it is going to do it on its own.

This didn’t work. I can’t repair the Windows install and a can’t reinstall Windows. The android side works but half the drive is wasted on Windows that is unusable. Is there a way to remove the dual boot option and get access to the rest of the drive?
I regret buying this thing now because I can’t get any help to fix it now the Windows update broke it.

This tutorial works with pro version too.

Always, I repeat, it is always possible to reinstall Windows on your device. It is exactly the same as installing Windows on a computer.
It is not a Chuwi issue, but if you explain what the problem is, we can help you. It is not enough to say it did not work, you must indicate where you have stopped and follow the instructions we have given you.

Is there a link on Chuwi Website where I can get the Windows10 files ?

  • Is there a link to a tuto that explains how to reinstall drivers ?

Many thanks for your help.

System from chuwi has already installed drivers, you don’t need to reinstall them.

Thanks !!
I’ll try that and let you know !
