I’ve tried anumber of Linux distis namely Ubuntu 20.04 and Elementary OS, both hang just before either booting from a usb ortrying to install from usb.

Hi, had the same issue. Did you flashed your system withe the EC Linux file from Chuwi?
I do sent an email to support and received a strange response @Management that linux cant be installed on aerobook plus … surprizing response
