FydeOS is chinese made, and not so open source however.

but, in additon to OS flex

  1. it support android 9 runtime, within it the active stylus still have pressure sensitivity and palm rejection
  2. so far i only notice auto rotation not working, but it’s a small thing right?
  3. even play store treat it as chromebook, and can install some chromebook specific apps!
  4. easy dual boot using refind manager.

there are 3 variants of hi10x, 2 use intel sound chip (i got 1 each).
they can install fydeos well, it’s chromeOS flex /w android support + dual boot.

fydeos is now 16.1,
i dual boot using win10 for work, fydeos for entertainment.

my win10 is bitlocker encrypted,
because fydeos is from chinese… from communist, i dont trust them.
the fydeos image is not signed nor with pgp key.
but i do use it for entertain only, and it cant steal things from bitlocker-ed drive.
