I wanted a new battery for my Chuwi UBook X, the tablet has been an excellent machine but its battery just isn’t holding much charge anymore, so unsure if I could trust other sources, I contacted Chuwi support (request 39655)… that was more than two weeks ago.
I appreciate the support staff had some kind of public holiday but that finished on the 7th and, honestly, how much effort does it take to tell me they can or cannot supply a specific battery? I received just one personal response, perhaps asking which country I was from (4 days ago; I responded saying I was from the UK) and that’s it.
Frankly I’m disappointed and it will inform my future decisions and recommendations to others.

The Chuwi website says they very busy so it can take more than 2 mont before repair. I sended back my 8 months old laptop for keyboard repair. They have my laptop now 4.5 months and when I send Email to them about the status they do not even answer that Email. For me they are a bunch of criminals. Never something again from Chuwi.

I sympathise and, having posted here, I did get a reply so I suspect they monitor this forum.
Although I’d think very hard about it, I probably would buy from them again because the UBook I had has served me very well as my second computer (my “away from home” one, my main machine is a full tower system) for four years. That said there’s a lot more choice out there now.
I hope you get your laptop back soon.

On the 9th of juni they send me an Email about they recive my laptop. 3 Day’s a go I recive mail that is was repaired but they wanted my adres and tel.nr. wich are on the pakkage when they get it there.
Now waiting when they will send to Thailand where i live. I bought 3 laptops from them and they all come within 4 day’s. Something tells me that it will take a very long time. I need more laptops but I am not shure for Chuwi.
