Fedora KDE mobile on Minibook X w/ screen rotation

Fedora 41 KDE mobile is available for beta testing. I tested it on the Minibook X N100. Finally there is automatic screen rotation out of the box! A virtual keyboard complements the tablet mode.

What I haven’t figured out is how to disable the real keyboard in tablet mode. I also noticed I miss a physical volume button.

Apart from that I’m positive how it works. I like it more than what I remember from Windows in tablet mode.

Next is to wait for the final release in October ‘24 and install it on the SSD.

If by then Fedora will be stable, I might consider a real tablet such as the Hi10 Max.

Try it yourself with a live version booted from a flash drive.
