I now know that first menu item is Factory Mode.
But it is hard to reach this menu.
After pressing volume-down and Power button
not always appears this menu.
Sometimes only a grey screen appears.
Then I must try to shut down the tablet by pressing POWER BUTTON for about 4 seconds.
After that I must set the tablet into the KEYBOARD.
Then clicking on TAB-Key.
Then cklicking on ENTER-Key.
Then waiting 2 seconds.
Then clicking again TAB-Key.
Then clicking again ENTER-Key.
Then after 1 second I can hear shut down sound.
During this procedure the tablet screen is invisible, grey.
Grey because some background light is on. (I call it blind working)
This morning (6:45 h) I had no success to ENTER Factory reset menu.
I always press Power button together with volume-down button for round about 8 seconds until there comes a reaction of the tablet.
Having success, then the screen turns into orange coloured CHUWI Start screen.
Having no success, then the screen turns from black into grey screen.
In this case blind action must be taken, like I described at the top of this letter.
I will try again and again until I can reach again the factory reset menu.
But now I must go to work.
I will give feedback later.

2020-Feb-06 evening:
Today I tried many times to get Access to the tablet.
But the display remains dark, Grey, with Little Backlight.
It only appears this dark, Grey screen. Now no CHUWI Logo Text.
No text to wish the login screen away.
**I hope there is a Chance to get Access to the Hi9 Plus by Special software through the **
USB-cabel connected to Windows PC.
Is this possible?
