Migrate to nvme

Hi

i have a Chuwi corebook X 2021 (intel gen 7th), i would like to enhance the storage. now i have the default 256GB SSD (Sata disk).

I would like to ask:

  1. in the second M2 slot (the one accessible from the back for the laptop with the 2 screws) can i add a nvme disk, is it supported? Which Gen (3, 4?) and how many lanes? so i don’t buy expesive disks which would not perform
  2. can i switch the boot device to this nvme by just copying the content for the old SATA SSD? i mean is the device able to boot from NVME?
