Hi to everyone.
Just to know… My Chuwi Hi10 X1 never go to “Tablet Mode” automatically but switch to that mode manually. It looks like it’s not normal. I tested with the provided Win 11 and under a “fresh windows install”.
Everything is set correctly in my parameters.
Is is a normal behavior ? Is it a missing driver ?
No. No missing driver at all in device manager in Win 11 and Win 10.
Then, if it’s a “special” configuration, I’ll be pleased to know how to activate that “Auto Tablet Mode”
I have done many tests. It look like Windows 24H2 is a real bulls*it. All the specific tablet features existing in Win10 are lost, deleted or removed by Microsoft. I’ve done many tests an multiple Tablet PCs I own (Chuwi, Lenovo and Dell)
The last Windows getting the most (full potential) of tablets features is Windows10. Windows 11 23H2 has lost the tiles capabilities (so practical when in tablet mode) with some missing features but Windows 11 24H2 is catastrophic.
As a side note : I tested all the Intel N150 drivers for tablets from 32.0.101.5972 up to the 32.0.101.6972 on Win 10, Win 11 23H2 and Win 11 24H2 on the Chuwi HI10 X1. And the 32.0.101.6737 is the worst one on Chuwi HI10 X1. don’t install them or you’ll lose performances.
My advice : Windows 11 24H2 is a full mess on tablets PCs. Don’t upgrade to it and stay with Intel drivers 32.0.101.5972 (best perfs on all OpenCL, Vulkan, 2D and 3D parts).
