I just bought the exact same ugreen usb-c hub, however I could not make it charge my lapbook pro even though I am using the original charger. What am I doing wrong?
you probably need to unplug the usbc DC charger from the hub and plug it again. Try it when you are in Windows.

I bought lapbook pro recently and it would be great to have usb-c hub with HDMI and chargng. I tried that doodle hub but it doesn’t work with lapbook at all. I tried also ugreen (a bit diffrent than the one metioned eariel, mine had also hdmi socet) and it can charge but cannot share screen. Windows seems to tryng to connect to monitor but fails for some reason (there is notification sying something like “could not connect to external screen”. Ubuntu doesn’t recognize hdmi at all.
Does anyone actually found any proper hub that can both deliver power and connect to external monitor?

I was looking some models, although not sure if it has to do with different things:
some products shows the specification “Type-C pass through”. Other products with the power to pass the 12v requested by the laptop (probably because many UBS hubs are passing only 5v).
Looking in Amazon with “Type-C pass through” there are some models providing 12v and more. Sometimes this specification is absent in the product information despite they can have. Other times the information appears in the sellers answers to customers.
Watts seem to be not very relevant. There are hubs showing info like “USB Type-C PD charging up to 87W” while passed volts are under 12v.

I suspect the voltage (12v or more) is the true criteria to choose. Although not sure 100%.

I also ordered the Lapbook Pro from Amazon. But if I read about the problems with loading and with a hub, I probably won’t unpack this laptop at all. I need a laptop that works. I was looking for something simple where you can use a hub without problems. I wanted to charge a hub for electricity, have network cables, external monitor, mouse and keyboard. So this laptop seems to be overwhelmed if you can not even properly charge with a hub via USB-C.
I’m already disappointed.
Hi, I’ve an issue with my charger for Lapbook pro, the USB C connector is broken. I also tried several universal chargers (most likely PD) but no way to charge. Do you know if I can use on of this multi USB hub with a PD universal charger and have the lapbook pro charging too?

You need to enable 12V in the charger, how you do it doesn’t matter. The laptop is charging from direct 12V, not PD.
If usb hub can activate PD 12V, then you can use it
hi, thanks for your replay. do you have HUBS available in AMAZON that would work? as mentioned my original charger is broken so I bought another one but is PD. Do you know an hub that can make it direct and not PD?
I have never seen a usb hub with PD trigger, so you should use trigger+hub.
About this post. I have also bought these Hubs:
both cannot charge the laptop, although at the desctriptions says, that they can, the didnt do it properly.
the first model 1 second charges and the next one stopped and started again. the second model disconnect from the laptop, when you connect the charger.

alone the charger charges the laptop. it seams to be a driver problem.

Entonces, por lo que veo, no se puede utilizar el puerto USB-C para cargar y transferir archivos a la vez. O una cosa o la otra. Ya es el segundo Hub USB-C que compro y no funciona en esta Laptop. Ambos con entrada para el alimentador y salida a USB-C con varias entradas para memorias e incluso puerto HDMI. Pero no lo detecta correctamente. El ultimo que adquirí si que es capaz de cargar pero entonces no lee ninguno de los otros puertos. 
Hay alguna opción a través de un driver o algo así?.

y también los dos hub que has comprado, voy a preguntar a tech a ver si ellos me pueden decir algo más que no hayan dicho en el hilo
