Not yet, although it is true that the AeroBook with the new battery can already use it without being connected to the charger, I have not been able to calibrate it correctly and it turns off unexpectedly. I am studying updating the Bios. I will keep informing
Thank you very much for your work, I will follow
Thank you for the news, I hope that you can calibrate the new battery.
I’m still having problems with the calibration.
Although I have already achieved 5 hours and 20 minutes of use without being connected and turned off at 5% battery, on the next charge, after the charging LED was green, the battery only reached 83%, so I must connect it again to get 100%
The shutdown that occurs is the same as the one with the original battery and then, in order to turn on, you need 3 reboots after pressing the power button. Now I just calibrated it in safe mode, to see if there are other results. I will keep informing
Hi, can you check whether usb c output work properly with the new battery installed. My usb c output is not working after i got the battery problem. It will sudden turn off after i connect any device to usb c port.

Hello manonegra, how is your laptop? Is there new information?
I have not given news about the battery because I have not yet achieved a correct calibration. Yes I have managed to work without connecting to the charger and the battery lasts about 5 hours, but during this time the percentage of battery that Windows shows does not correspond to reality, and the laptop turns off when the Windows information (which is not reality) brand that is still 38%. I have done the calibration process several times, but it is as if the information given by the battery was not read correctly by Windows or is simply not correct.
I have put in the battery options that warn me in 45% and at that moment I plug the charger again
Receive my new battery from aliexpress today and swap it with old battery. It quite easy to change it.
Use my laptop for one hour now without any sudden turn off. Not yet fully tested and calibrate it.
Usb C to hdmi now working properly. Previously it is not working and will got sudden turn off when connected.
Hello zulmohd10419, how is your new battery treating you? I also need to buy new battery for my Aerobook, can you give me the link? Do you have unexpected shutdowns or any calibration problems with new battery? Thank you!
It working great. No unexpected shutdown and I got 5++ hours battery life.
For me, the laptop will shutdown itself at 0% battery and got full 100%. So, no need for calibration at all.
Here the link:
Hello, I have the same problem but i don´t want to change the battery, it seems difficult and risky, do you recomend to me any powerbank for chuwi aerobook?
This is a fantastic post, any chance you would have a go at hinge repair/maintenance???!!!
Risau lah beli beli nanti rosak balik
Hi, so the battery problem has affected my aerobook as well. The laptop randomly shuts down after about 1-2 hours of usage without any warning. The battery percentage shows more than 60-65%. This has now happened for the third day in a row. The laptop is practically useless without the charger.
This has now led to BCD errors.
I had emailed chuwi crowdfunding support, since that’s where I had ordered from. And here is the response:
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please try to reflash EC: http://www.mediafire.com/folder/ha9j0s1fkepj2da,wmnewm4tfls67a0/shared
The tutorial is attached.
Thank you.
But, the bios flash does not work.
I had earlier migrated Windows 10 to the SSD from the MMC. Could this be the reason for the error? Is there any other way to flash the bios with the provided files?
Also, do you think a bios reflash will solve what seems to be a battery issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
